Ow, I Got Coke In My Eye

Today was a long, busy day, but it was pretty fun. Work was rather blah though. I'm to the point where I have a pretty good grasp of the basics and some advanced stuff, but there are so many levels of advanced it's unnerving. It will just take time. I do not really miss training though - That surprises me some.

So, happy things the other day - My damn cat, Mack "Guy", threw up a worm. On my afghan. That was lovely. What a great wake up. And thus, I made a vet appointment and had to leave work a few hours early. Drive home, pick up, then drive way out to where I lived with Tammy for the vet. I love my vet, the drive is just a bitch though.

Oh, and I loved it on the phone where the receptionist was like, "Yeah, can you bring that worm in?" ...Like, I didn't flush the nasty fuck down the toilet immediately.

I hadn't had him in there yet and the first thing said was, "Wow! That's a huge cat!" [grins] He weighed in at 16 1/2 pounds. Funny thing is, I heard them talking outside of the room saying that he had a tapeworm and that he was going to gain more weight once it was gone. Heh!

Afterwards, I went to Tammy's and had a nice time. He didn't get along with Hannah all that bad, but not the best either. She's such a meek dog, but she got hyper a bit and Guy did not care for the barking much. Needless to say, Guy got a good swipe on her ear. But he was very laid back unless Hannah was jumping around barking wanting to play.

I snapped this picture on my phone. It looks like he's about to take a swipe, but that wasn't the case here - That occurred a bit later.

I'm pretty pooped, but I know I won't go to bed for a bit still. It was worth it though, nice day and it was cute seeing Tammy interested in how the two would get along. We mainly just watched TV and talked a bit in between watching them.

Speaking of TV, that "Studio 60" show was pretty good. "Jericho" wasn't so bad either - I'll continue to watch both.
It's a bit depressing coming home to this place though. Such a mess. My roommate drives me insane. I've never lived with someone so filthy before. I've considered talking with him about it, but honestly I'd rather just keep as much to myself as possible and keep my door closed. I'm looking forward to moving next year though - Hopefully closer to work, but it's so much more expensive there. The prospect of living alone isn't promising and I'll likely end up with a roommate again. Bleh.

Man, my Blog entries have become pretty dull lately, but there's really not much to report. Ah well.

I'll close this tonight with my favorite Steven Colbert interview. Eleanor Holmes Norton. I very much respect the Congresswoman, but this is just so funny.

Colbert Report

LOL wait, OMG! I was just watching it again (I hadn't seen it in awhile) and I spit my Coke all over the place. People post they do that all the time, I but I swear I don't think I ever have before. Poor Xena was on my lap too. She was not too pleased. Diet Coke in one's eye burns too. :)
Haha, that was funny.

...Holy crap it's almost 1:30!
