Oh my goodness... Frank Miller's graphic novel come to life. My favorite period in history. One of the greatest battles in history. The world would be a very different place today if those 300 Spartans did not hold the pass at Thermopylae.
However, I have to wait 5 stinking months for it! (I replaced 'fucking' with 'stinking' because I realized I was swearing a lot)

Wow. That does look good. It's like Troy meets the Matrix on steroids (give or take 700 years...) I'm not wild about the title, though. Without context it might confuse your average popcorn muncher.
Oh no no! The title is everything! At the risk of stating something you already know, it's about the Battle of Thermopylae. 300 Spartans held off the Persian army long enough for Athens to be evacuated. The outcome of Thermopylae spurred the Greeks in the Battle of Salamis. Which is, arguably, the most important and influential battle in history. The world would be a different place today if not for those 300 Spartans.
