What the Faux!

So, Sean Combs; P. Diddy yo, has a new clothing line I guess. Or maybe its not new, maybe they were just sold out when I last shopped at Macy's. Oh snap.

Apparently this jacket of his was labeled 'faux fur', however it was made of fur and that's a violation of Federal Law. Oops? Not only that, no...It's the fur of some kinda 'Raccoon Dog' native to China. WTF.

Is there something I'm missing here? I mean, is that a Raccoon or a Raccoon Dog? Maybe I fooled you and that's really just a Raccoon.

They do look the same, but that's really not my point, however I've found this fact amuses me. I don't know that I really have a point honestly. I mean, WHY and HOW do you mis-label something 'faux fur' when its not? WORSE, now its made of dog fur? If a Raccoon Dog is even part of the dog family (Remember, don't believe everything you've read on the Internet).

I'm not a proponent of fur coats. I'd never own one and I tend to scowl at those I see wearing them. Why people find them elegant is a mystery to me.

I bet some poor woman will sue P Diddy because she would normally never wear fur and now owning one of his has deeply troubled her to the sum of $10million dollars. Cause you know, those of us who are against fur really want to wear an imitation of something we so loathe.

Watch though, bet his company gets sued for that reason.
