Goodness, this is an interesting clip and the first I learned of this luncheon. I have to admit, O'Reilly does have a point at the end. Is it true?

Rosie's behavior was pretty disturbing to me, though I do understand what the guest is saying regarding the context and that it was a closed event. It's no secret I'm no fan of Rosie, I thought it would take a lot for her to shock me -- This did the trick.

I saw this video on CNN and was easily able to find a copy on YouTube. This is insane. A guy going ape shit on a 75 year old reporter in Toronto.
Eesh. Everyone was really nice when I was in Toronto...
I would advise avoiding this fellow.

I Have The Power!

What a busy day. Tomorrow will probably be worse. My new position at work is very empowering. Not in that I have so much power, but that it has given me such a confidence boost. Definitely a step in the right direction and a huge career move.

Still undecided on the company holiday party. Hmm, it's Friday so I suppose I should decide soon. My stuff should still fit me I think. My glasses came in today too so I should take advantage of the "excuse to dress up, smart-looking (thanks to glasses!) power lesbian" alter ego. Whether I can get a salon appointment on Friday though...

[sighs] And add to my day AfterEllen drama. Bleh. The spam posts are an annoyance, but the stupid "blah blah bad moderator" stuff is even more annoying. I don't even enjoy moderating, I'm only doing so because Sarah seems so far removed from the forums now and there are few active moderators. Of course, understandable for all.

That's about the last thing I want to write about now though. In fact, I have no idea why I bothered to respond to the drama, it certainly won't do one lick of good.

Oh! The house next to my mother's is for sale and she mentioned it to my dad! I'm going to keep pressuring him to buy it, but I don't know how good the odds are that he would move there. I'm growing increasingly worried about him. Over the weekend, with the big snow in Illinois, he slipped outside and had to go to the hospital with a concussion. He's alright, but that's certainly cause for worry - I very much dislike being so far away and that he lives alone.

I came across a website earlier with the 50 greatest commercials from the 80's. Most of them I was doing fine with never seeing again, but the one I am embedding below made my face light up. Oh, how I loved my Masters of the Univerise power wheels!

I'd not be able to guess how many times I said "fuck you", "shut the fuck up" and various other obscenities during that game. The commentators were horrible. Charles Barkley, I respect you, but I don't want to hear you talking during my football game, k? I almost would have preferred Madden to whoever the other two commenting the game.

6 fucking turn overs? WTF? Thank God we have a Bye week because you need to sit your ass down, Rex. And thank God we have a defense who can force turnovers - Because we certainly didn't have much pass defense this game.

We have skills - But we were lucky. I have a feeling a certain Cardinals field goal kicker will be out of a job tomorrow.

And the above brawl was just sick. First it was reported that everyone involved received 1 game suspensions. Later it was community service and some other nonsense. Now team suspensions. [drums her fingers] If you watch the entire video, listen to the commentator. What a fucking tool.

Why am I being bitchy - The Bears won! I don't fucking care if it was sloppy - It was a win. Our Defense and Special Teams shined. Okay, well, I will care if our offense looks like donkey ass next game. But I do, always, appreciate a come from behind victory!
